Artwalk Continues…
…the next First Friday Artwalk is scheduled for March 7th.

Before I take up the Artwalk challenge I would like to acknowledge all of the hard work that my predecessors have put into establishing this important event — the Village Marketing Group and especially Kathleen Galipeau who has taken it to a new level.

I am in the process of contacting all of the businesses, galleries and artists who have participated in the past. It is my hope that we can continue to grow the event through advertising, PR and promotion. In addition, we want to try to include more live musicians and possibly some street performers. We are also contacting the Claremont Colleges and the High School in search of talent. If you know any talented artists willing to perform for free please have them contact ryan@claremontvillage.com.

Participation fees remain the same at $25 per event or $120 for six months. We will also be soliciting sponsorship funds in order to generate an advertising budget.

Please reply to this email as soon as possible to frenchhens@aol.com if you would like to participate and indicate if you already have an artist and/or a performer.

Indicate whether you would like to be a sponsor, a host or both. Participants will be included in newspaper advertisements and the regular  program. Please drop off your check (made payable to the Village Marketing Group) at Aromatique or Three French Hens at your earliest convenience. The fees go towards advertising & promotion, balloons etc.

Peace & love
